Flights of Fancy- This project was all about machinery, old flying machines and rusting cogs. I created multiple textile samples and really enjoying playing around with different techniques. My idea was that you could create a fairy-tale from anything so my final designs were two ball gowns which were worn at the end of year fashion show.
This is a picture of me in the fashion show wearing the dress, layered on top of patchwork samples which inspired the final dress!
